Broncos -3.5 vs Cowboys: Coach Payton & Company finally look like they have the offense clicking after the 33 point 4th quarter outburst last week. The Cowboys are beat up in the secondary, and the last time they went on the road it didn’t end well for them. I know the Cowboys offense has played well this year, but it takes both sides of the ball. Denver wins by double digits.
Saints +4.5 vs Bucs: The Lions were great on D Monday Night, and the Saints are not the Lions, but I don’t like how this one is shaping up for Tampa. No Mike Evans and now Vita Vea – the Bucs best defender – is questionable. LB Hasson Reddick is also out. This is also a short week for the Bucs, and the Saints are at home and the healthier team. Even when the Bucs won the Super Bowl with Gruden they lost twice to New Orleans.
Giants +7.5 at Eagles: That was a horrible loss to say the least last week for the Giants, but with Dart under center, they have scored over 30 points in each of the last two weeks, including 34 against Philly 2 ½ weeks ago. AJ Brown is OUT and so is the Eagles starting center, so I think the Giants keep this one close.
Packers -3.0 at Steelers: Things were a bit choppy in Glendale last week, but Green Bay got the W, getting 6 sacks in the process. A win in Pittsburgh Sunday Night puts them atop the NFC, and this game means more to them than the Steelers, who will likely win the dumpster fire of the AFC North no matter what happens Sunday.
Chiefs -11.5 vs Commanders: The Chiefs offense has scored at least 28 points in each of the last 4 games and they are facing a Commanders D that surrendered 44 points on the road last week to the Cowboys. Oh, and Jayden Daniels is out and the Chiefs defense is very good. Mahomes lights it up in prime time.
