The Bearded Talisman’s Week 4 Picks
Steelers +2.5 vs Vikings in Ireland – Aaron Rodgers vs Carson Wentz and you GETTING 2.5 points. The Steelers are not going to turn the ball over like the Bengals did last week, and Wentz will be forced to make plays vs TJ Watt and the Steelers D, and the Vikes still have some question marks on the offensive line. TJ Watt over 0.75 sacks -122….I’ll buy that for a dollar. Carson Wentz to throw and INT -130? Same.
Chiefs +2.5 vs Ravens – The Ravens have multiple players out on D, and are playing on a short week against a Chiefs team that can play defense; and, quite frankly KC needs the game even more than the Ravens. Worthy is back and Mahomes and the Chiefs get it done in Arrowhead.
Jags +3.5 at 49ers – The 49ers improved to 3-0 last week, but it was a pyrrhic victory with Nick Bosa now out for the season. The Jags are gobs more healthy than the 49ers and should be able to keep this one very close or win it.
Rams -3.5 vs Colts – The Rams have 795 Total yards offense the last two weeks, and aside from the blocked kick to end the game last week in Philly, look they are the best team in the NFC, and maybe all of football. The Colts are 3-0, but their wins have come against teams with a combined record of 1-8.
Broncos -7.5 vs Bengals – After two straight close losses on the road to potential playoff teams, the Broncos get healthy at home against a Bengals team with lots of problems.
