Bucs -3.0 vs 49ers: At this point, Kyle Shanahan probably deserves Coach of the Year, but at a certain point you realize all of the injuries have caught up with you. I think the 49ers reach that point against Baker Mayfield this week. He gets my vote right now for league MVP. That was a Tier 1 finish last week in Seattle.
Cowboys -3.0 at Panthers: If Shanahan isn't Coach of the Year, maybe it's Brian Schottenheimer. Dak Prescott has never looked better and the team chemistry in Dallas is palpable. The Cowboy offense has been in full blown attack mode for over 6 quarters now, and while the Panthers offense shows flashes; overall, it is flaky, and I don't think they can keep up.
Dolphins +4.5 vs Chargers: The NFL is a war of attrition and the Chargers are one battered team right now. Their offense put up a goose egg in the 2nd half last week against a very suspect Washington D. Say what you want about the Dolphins, but Tua has looked pretty good the last 4 games, and even without Tyreek Hill he has weapons.
Steelers -5.5 vs Browns: Baltimore, Cincy and Cleveland are all in the midst of dumpster fire seasons and it is the Steelers that are capitalizing. They are coming off a bye and playing at home vs a Cleveland team that could easily be winless. All signs point toward Pittsburgh winning the AFC North and they get their first division win this week, by at least a TD.
Chiefs -2.5 vs Lions: Possible Preview of Super Bowl LX - The Chiefs offense is getting better and better each week; and the Lions secondary is a little gimpy right now, and it showed in Cincy in the 2nd half last week. With all the "what's wrong with the Chiefs?" talk after a 2-3 start, if your life depended on choosing the AFC representative in the Super Bowl this year, who would you take????? That's what I thought.
